Lake Mooney Park
This beautiful 520-acre lake is Virginia's newest recreational lake and will welcome canoeists and kayakers (gas-powered boats are not permitted). Stafford is working with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to stock the lake with fish. Until the fish population has multiplied and matured, fishing is not yet allowed. Lake Mooney will open to the public on May 28. View the fact sheet for more information.
